BASS has changed the college format to allow each state to hold a national qualifying event. So starting with the new BASS college season you will now have an opportunity right here in your own state to make it to the College National championship.

Kansas will be following the official BASS tourney rules and this will be a one day winner take all event. The winning team will get a berth into the big show. The date for Kansas College tournament has been set. It will be held on April 8th. The location is still being worked out and will be announced as soon as the permit has been obtained.

So what do you need to do to be eligible. You have to be part of an official college or vocational team as defined by BASS rules. You have to be a BASS member, a BASS Nation member as well as a Kansas BASS Nation member. Then all you need to do is fill out the appropriate entry form and pay your entry fee and show up for your shot. For additional rules and eligibility please refer to bassmaster.com.
