Posted by

The 2017 Mr. Bass is in the books! 23 boats and 46 anglers gave it all in tough blue bird sky’s for 2 days. I’m the end Jason Baird was crowned Champion. David Heffel was the runner up. Both earned two spots on the 2018 State Team.

On the Co-Angler side it was anyone’s game after the first day. Day two prove you needed to capitalize on hook sets from reports. Nick Davenport Mr. Bass Co-Angler Champion did just that. Kyle Klein claimed the Runner-up spot. Both will be on the 2018 State Team as Co-Angler.

One thing I’d like to point out is. The KBN State Team will have the its First High School qualifier since BASS NATION started the High School program. Congratulations to Nick Davenport for a huge accomplishment!!!!

Big Bass winners are:
Day 1 Boater Jason Baird-4.00#
Day 1 Co-Angler Cody Gehrer-3.42#
Day 2 Boater Justin Harris-4.17#
Day 2 Co-Angler Kyle Klein-4.03#
All will receive $210 each for the big bass pots.

Below is the final results from last weekend. I’ll add other pictures in another post.
