Good afternoon fellow members Mr. Bass is few days away!! Would like to take a moment to update with a couple of things.

Pre-Meeting will be Friday 14th @ 6:00pm
Place: Elks Lodge in Russell
Refreshments and Snack food will be provided by the Russell Chamber of Commerce.

Janae Talbott will be there to say a few words before the meeting starts. Please take the time to thank her and her staff for setting this up. They did a fantastic job at the 4-man!!!

Please also note that you cannot bring outside alcoholic beverages into the building. They do have a full service bar inside and may purchase drinks inside if you choose to do so.

Please take the time to prepare for hot weather. Make sure you take the time to check your livewell and aerator are in working order. We will be doing a check morning of before we launch. If your systems do not work morning of you be asked to come aside and fix them before you launch. Also wouldn’t hurt to have extra ice on board and fish alive additives. We want to ensure that we’re doing everything to protect and conserve our fisheries for the future!

If you cannot make the pre-meeting you need to get ahold of me asap for further instructions. I will give out launch order and pairs after the meeting for both days.

I will be doing two side pots for Brent Chapman boat raffle tickets this weekend. One will be 10 spots for $10 each spot. And a 5 spot for $20. They’ll be on the table I will be set up at. If all spots do fill I’ll raffle them off after the meeting or after weigh in on Sunday. I will have extra hard copy tickets to sell also. Hit me up!!! We will be also selling a $1 each or $20 for 25 tickets. I have couple rods and reels to raffle off also.

Hope all have a great rest of the week drive safe and see you Friday!!!

Thanks Evan

It would have been just as impossible to predict that the B.A.S.S. newsletter, first distributed in 1968, would evolve into Bassmaster Magazine, the bible of today’s bass fisherman — but it happened.
